Greater Manchester Police and Manchester FA are thanking fans in the county for drinking responsibly and showing respect for others to keep the World Cup trouble-free so far by offering them the chance to win two free tickets plus travel to watch England play Hungary at Wembley on 11 August.
All fans have to do to enter the competition is go on www.gmp.police.uk and guess how many goals will be scored in total throughout the World Cup competition up to and including the Final on Sunday 11 July.
Competition entries will be taken up to the start of the Quarter-finals at 3.00pm on Friday 2 July and entry is only open to people over 17 living in Greater Manchester.
The free tickets have been provided by Manchester FA who are supporting Greater Manchester Police's campaign to encourage fans in the county to drink responsibly, be polite and avoid trouble so everyone can enjoy a trouble-free World Cup.
Manchester FA's Business Development Manager, Jason McAuley said: "We are delighted to be teaming up with GMP to help promote a safe and enjoyable World Cup for all.
"We live, play and support the game in the biggest and best football city in the country so let's make sure everyone gets behind the team and hopefully the lucky winners of the competition can be at Wembley to welcome back the FIFA World Cup Trophy!"
Chief Superintendent David Anthony who is coordinating GMP's policing around the World Cup said: "The behaviour of the vast majority of football fans so far in Greater Manchester has been generally good.
"I would urge fans to continue to control their drinking and show courtesy and respect to those around them through the rest of the tournament to make this a World Cup to remember."
Fans can still order the Greater Manchester Police World Cup planner containing all the games, dates, times and venues in the tournament by logging onto www.gmp.police.uk. The planner is also available to download through this website.
