Following an article on the Manchester Evening News website in which Oldham Athletic Chairman Simon Corney suggested a possible ground share between Latics and Dale, Rochdale AFC would like to clarify the situation.

Rochdale Chairman Chris Dunphy was approached by Simon Corney over the possibility of sharing a new ground to be situated between the two current sites. Whilst we are not discarding the possibility of this move, this is as far as negotiations have gone so far. We would certainly like to look into the idea further, but at the moment things are still at the earliest possible stage.
