Nathan looking to graduate

Posted on: Thu 04 Jun 2009

Former defender Nathan D'Laryea will be swapping training kit for text books from September as he has decided to go to University following his release from Spotland.

Always appearing bright and well spoken Nathan left school with a pile of GCSE's before taking up his scholarship at Manchester City and is looking forward to using brain rather than brawn when the new term begins

" I have decided to go to University whilst hoping to get a deal to play part time somewhere to help pay the bills. I will be doing English Language at The University of Manchester. It is hard to get places there so I thought that I may as well go for it when the opportunity came up. Long term the plan is to go into journalism or teaching and as I say all I need is a contract for next season and I will be sorted"

On behalf of everyone at the club we would like to wish Nathan, who was never anything but friendly and approachable during his time here, every success in his chosen future.
