It is with great sadness that we have to announce the passing of Paul Conway our resident Sports Scientist and a key member of the backroom staff at Rochdale Football Club.

Paul suffered what proved to be fatal brain haemorrhage on Monday  and passed away peacefully yesterday evening. His life cut tragically short in his forties Paul leaves behind wife Jackie and sons Ben and James

Fans will have seen him re fuelling the players during matches but he did much more more behind the scenes working alongside the other staff to monitor,build and maintain the fitness levels in the playing squads.

Totally dedicated to his work but always very pleasant and quietly spoken Paul was one of life's gentleman and will be sadly missed by all who came into contact with him. 

The sympathies ,thoughts and prayers from everyone connected to Rochdale Football Club go out to Paul's family at this devastating time.
