Rochdale's youth team squad received a big boost this week with the arrival of a new bus, sponsored by our friends at Leach Distribution.

Youth team boss Chris Beech is over moon with it saying,

"We can now travel over 30mph uphill on the motorway! It could be a laughing matter looking back but on a serious note it was taking us extended time to get anywhere and not having a main training ground we are travelling every day. It can be a long winded stint for the person, i.e. me, trying to get the ship shaped and off to work every morning. Travelling at snail's pace eats into coaching time but that is no longer with thanks to Leach Distribution"

" It is a fantastic piece of sponsorship and Mr Leach came down himself to make sure that everything was correct and that we are happy and we fully appreciate his efforts. It is a 17 seater mini-bus with all modern requirements-the demister works and clears the windscreen, the indicators actually work and the roof doesn't leak!"

The team will be travelling in their new bus tomorrow when they face Port Vale at Hopwood Hall with an 11 o'clock kick off.
