The first ten minutes saw both sides testing the water, Dale's second corner was not cleared by Bradford and Steph Bell fired home from 10 yards out 1 nil to Dale on the 12th minute. The goal spurred on Dale Lizzie Paul beating her marker and just shot wide. Dale looked up for the game Steph Bell and Holly Newman combined welland Bell slotted a ball through to the left wing were Rachael Wood ran on to loop over the out coming Bradford keeper on the 25th minute. Dale now looked in complete control their new formation seemed to be working well.
On the restart Sarah Buffel's tireless energy in midfield paid off she battled for a 50/50 ball and won, Sarah found Rachael Wood who ran 40 metres to shoot over the keeper into the top corner 3 nil on 49th minute. Bradford looked to have no answer to Dale's football, Lizzie Paul's hard work and brilliant running off the ball created Dale's 4th, Lizzie chased down a lost cause only to win the ball deep in Bradford's half and cheekily chipped the keeper this made 4 nil on the 75th minute.
Dale's management made changes and introduced the subs, Claire Pearson made way for Siobhan McElhinney, Kim Hines for Nicola Ireson and Lizzie Paul for Anna Renken. All the subs settled in well and dale lost none of their fluency. Lisa Wood rounded off the scoring as she took her goal well from outside the box. Bradford scored a consolation goal but it was never going to change a great result for the visitors. Lauren Bracewell Dale's agile keeper was distraught not to keep a clean sheet, which she deserved.
Dale's next game is in Lancashire Cup Final against Blackburn Rovers Ladies who are in the premier division on Friday 3rd April at 7 pm. The game will be played at Lancashire FA headquarters in Leyland
