Dale were seeded in the elite 2 group Dynamis Trophy this year and with Liverpool and Wolves looking good Dale needed to be on top form.

Dale began with a win over a Scottish Premier league team Boroughmuir 3 1 , next up came Wolves Dale won 1 nil but the score should have been more up.Then it was Liverpool a game that we won 4-1,aveninging last years defeat in same group. The last game of the day saw us beat Bolton 6 nil to round of a perfect first day gaining maximum points and therefore already being qualified for the semi finals.       

The Sunday started off just as the previous day boiling hot but Dale started just after noon beating Leafield Ladies 2 nil which put us into the semi final against Liverpool Feds . Liverpool tried to put Dale off their game but Dale went ahead on the 17^th minute, Feds drew one back in the second half and after some altercations Dale and Feds both had a player each sent off, this spurred on the Dale and two more goals sent them into the final to meet Wolves whom we beat in the group stages.

Dale played brilliantly, the harder the opposition the better we seemed to play and yet again we ran out winners 1 nil to lift the prestigious Umbro trophy, seven wins out of seven over two days scoring 20 goals and only conceded three a great boost to the start of the season for the Dale players.
