To be honest it has been hard being on road for 4 successive games but we have had a good weeks training and we are well prepared for Macclesfield as we look forward to 3 home games on the trot.

We are looking to win all 3 games and at this moment have a full strength squad with good competition for places. There is good competition on the training pitch which is as it should be and places in the team are still up for grabs. What we can't have is people expecting to be picked because they are in a winning side. We take into account, in great detail what happens during the course of the week and if we feel as though we need to change things then we will. That competition is bred not only by winning games but on the training pitch as well. We have a saying on the back of the office door that says
 " If you want to play football train, if you want to win football matches train harder" That is our philosophy and we train with quality and to a plan.

Looking forward to tomorrow Keith Alexander will know what we are capable of because he has watched us often enough. He will have done his research because he is very thorough. Keith is very experienced and will have come up with a game plan for the day and we too have one to win the football match. We are in good league form on the back of some good victories, confidence is high and competition for places is good.  

We are confident but it is a tightrope situation where confidence and arrogance can be close. Our confidence is high but we have to match that confidence with unbelievable work rate and if you can do that you give yourself the opportunity to win football matches. The players are level headed and grounded but do have the confidence in their own ability and the abilities of their team mates as well.
