Rochdale AFC practices a zero tolerance policy towards discrimination, harassment and abuse and all supporters and employees are required to promote equality in an environment in which all individuals can feel safe and comfortable.
Rochdale AFC's policy on reporting incidents is outlined below.
This policy is supported by the Police, Stadium Stewards and the Football Authorities.
Incident reported to the nearest steward.
Steward reports incident to Control box.
Steward reminds alleged offender of zero tolerance policy and monitors situation.
If alleged offender continues anti-discriminatory behaviour he/she is removed from ground.
Chief Steward informs police of removal.
Details of offender taken and Club to write to offender which may include a ban.
If police go for conviction and if successful, police will apply for banning order.
Incident reported and passed to Chief Executive for monitoring purposes.
