Matthew Newstead and friends enjoyed a real belter of a birthday party at Rochdale AFC when Dale beat Aldershot, taking advantage of the Football in the Community Saturday Club activities.

Not only did they witness a victory but enjoyed an action packed afternoon playing football and taking in a ground tour of Spotland prior to the match.

"It was a brilliant day out made even better with the win against the odds" said Matthew as he left the ground with a signed football and goodies included in the package

The Saturday Club runs at every Saturday home match with Birthday Treats organised through out the week-this was the first time at both had been encorporated together on one day proving extremely successful.
