Hilly on Fan Drive
Manager Keith Hill is totally behind the Fan Drive initiative and is looking forward to seeing Spotland bulging at the seams when his side entertain Chesterfield next Saturday.
" It would be absolutely superb. We have to remember and keep stating that the hard core of support that we have here is amazing. On Monday night and Tuesday morning the work that the supporters put in to try to get Notts County game on was immense and it shows exactly what we have got at this football club. The strength of any club is only as good as its support base and our core is frightening. We see it at home and we see it away."
" As a manager and as a squad we would urge everyone to get fully behind the Fan Drive and do everything that they can to bring people to not only the Chesterfield game but the Wycombe one as well. Everyone wants to play in front of the biggest crowds that they can and my players are no different. Personally I fully appreciate all the efforts and endeavours of our supporters and that is mirrored in the work ethic of the whole squad. "
" We all want to achieve something at Rochdale Football Club and I read the Scrutator column in the match programme recently and something really significant stood out for me. There are supporters here that haven't tasted success at this football club and we used the article in a team talk expressing just why we need success at this club. We are in a priviliged position to drive home some long awaited success here and we want to do it for the supporters."
" We fully appreciate our fans and it is been superb especially when we have won away from home to see the unity between the players, the staff and the fans. Those supporters have been with us every step of the way and we want to sort out the home form for those who don't travel with us. "
" I am a supporter and I am doing everything that I can for you as much as for myself. On behalf of all my staff and players I would like to thank our fans and to re state just how vital it is that we all get behind our Fan Drive"
