North West Awards
This year's Northwest Football Awards will take place on Monday 17 November 2008 at the Midland Hotel in 
The Northwest Football Awards was launched in 2007 in a bid to recognise the region's success on and off the pitch and the inaugural event was a tremendous success.
An esteemed panel of judges (Gerry Boon - Deloitte's; Professor Tom Cannon - Financial Football Commentator; Alan Myers - Sky Sports; Gordon Taylor - the PFA; Paul Thorogood - the Football Foundation; Maurice Watkins - Brabners Chaffe Street) selected the corporate teams who had made the biggest impact behind the scenes within the fields of sponsorship & marketing, community, conferencing and events and the business's that provide services to the Northwest's clubs.
Clubs were represented across all professional leagues with awards and commendations being presented to Blackburn Rovers, Bolton Wanderers, Burnley, Everton,
Corporate winners included business advisory firm, Deloitte and Forbes Solicitors.
The North West Football Awards 2008 is set to build on this success, with a definitive, inclusive, credible and entertaining awards ceremony that recognises the huge contribution football makes to the Northwest.
With your support this annual event will be recognised as the pinnacle of Awards for football in the Northwest region where Players, Managers, Commercial Departments, and people involved in the business of football, can receive recognition for their outstanding achievements.
We would like you to identify and enter your nominations for one or more of the Awards based on activity from August 2007 to August 2008.
The entries will be put forward to the panel of Judges to be assessed. All six judges have re-confirmed their involvement.
