Rochdale came from a goal down to secure a 3-1 win over Colchester United when the sides met at Spotland in December.
Chris Porter had put the visitors ahead with a fine half volley, before Ian Henderson levelled from the spot on the half hour mark. Donal McDermott put Dale ahead four minutes later, while Oliver Lancashire sealed the victory shortly after the hour.
