Dale proud sponsors of Rochdale Feel Good Festival...

We're delighted to confirm that Rochdale Football Club has been confirmed as one of the sponsors for this summer’s Rochdale Feel Good Festival.

As part of the agreement, Dale will be an official festival partner for the first time, marketing the event to our thousands of fans by promoting it at Spotland Stadium during pre-season and at the opening games in August.

The Club will also take part in the festival itself on September 4th and 5th, with the Dale in the Community Sports Trust team hosting football skills sessions. There will also be a guest appearances by Dale's mischievous mascot Desmond the Dragon!

Manager Keith Hill commented: “The Feel Good Festival is one of the biggest and best events around and we want to help them build on the success of recent years for 2015.  I know a lot of our supporters are fans of the festival too so it’s a good partnership. I’m planning to come down with some of our players on the Friday … we may even try our hand at the cooking!”

Award winning BBC Fusion Chef Aazam Ahmad, one of the festivals five star chefs visited Spotland Stadium this week and said: “We’re looking forward to working with the club and engaging with the fans. I love the community spirit in the town and I love the Feel Good Festival.”

Rochdale Feel Good Festival returns on Friday 4th and Saturday 5th September for another showcase of entertainment, food and culture. Music acts already confirmed for the main stage include The South, Toploader, Kirsty Almeida and The Uplifters. Celebrity chefs including Aazam Ahmad, Rachel Khoo, Andrew Nutter and Kevin Woodford will host live cooking demonstrations throughout the event, which will also include the popular food market.
