Matty Done spoke to Dale Player following Saturday’s 1-0 win over Coventry City…
“It has been a very hard week with the last three games that we’ve had - Sheffield United last Saturday, Tuesday night against Walsall and then today, but the lads were brilliant today and we fully deserved the win.
“Three games in the space of a week against opposition as good as we’ve played is going to be hard on the lads, but we’ve been brilliant. It’s two wins out of two at home, so I’m over the moon with it.”
Dale have been beaten just once in their last five outings and Done believes Dale’s under the radar side has now clicked.
“If you look at our form at the start of the season, it probably backed people’s opinions that we’ll go down because we didn’t pick the results up that we deserved. But if you had come to those games you would have seen that we were playing really well and were really unlucky not to pick up points in the first few games of the season, so we knew we weren’t miles off. The last few weeks it has clicked and we’re starting
to show teams that we mean business in this league.
"We’re really enjoying our football, everyone is, and there’s a great buzz around the place - I think performances are showing that.”
