Manchester United goalkeeper Joel Castro Pereira will be returning to Spotland for a second stint on loan.
The popular stopper has signed loan terms until 3rd January 2016 and will be part of Keith Hill's squad for the trip to Doncaster this weekend.
Joel made his one and only appearance for Dale in the Johnstone Paints Trophy against Morecambe and despite defeat in the competition, Joel endeared himself to the fans after saving a penalty and celebrating with the Sandy Lane faithful. He will continue to wear his number 44 shirt.
