Sales & Marketing Manager Vacancy
Rochdale Football Club wish to appoint a Sales & Marketing Manager based at Spotland Stadium, to support our ambitious plans both on and off the field.
Reporting to the Chief Executive, you would be responsible for key areas such as sponsorship, advertising and Football League central deals. You would also be responsible for leading our commercial activities including retail, media, lottery and the match-day experience and you would set and review targets for the departmental managers in these areas. You would implement strategically planned campaigns and would be required to initiate new ideas to generate revenues and increase the fan base.
You must be able to demonstrate success in a commercial role, and whilst experience of the football industry would be an advantage, it is not an absolute requirement. You will have excellent organisational and managerial skills, and will be an effective communicator. You will have the personality and creativity to both build on existing business relationships and to develop new ones.
Whilst the role is predominantly Monday to Friday plus match and event days, flexibility is essential.
Salary is negotiable depending on experience but will be basic pay plus commission.
