Hill Will Make Changes For Tuesday's JPT Tie

5 October 2015

Manager Keith Hill is expected to make five changes for Tuesday night’s Johnstone’s Paint Trophy second round tie against Chesterfield. That’s maximum number of changes permitted under the rules.

Speaking to Dale PlayerHD ahead of the fixture, he commented: “I’ve got to be mindful that we do want to be successful with respect to every game that we play in - I want victories. I’ve also got respect for the competition and the opposition but I believe with our current squad that we shouldn’t be restricted to making five changes to the starting eleven.

"I think that we maybe would have liked to have made one or two more, but five is enough for me. I don’t think it will dilute our opportunities on the night and I’m looking forward to giving those players, who have assured me that they deserve to be playing, the opportunity [for me] to look at them and the supporters as well."
