Manager Keith Hill says he is “really pleased” to have recruited Tomasz Cywka, following his arrival at Spotland on Wednesday.
Cywka signed a short-term loan deal at the club, joining Dale on loan from Blackpool until January.
Speaking to Dale Player, Hill commented: “It was an opportunity to get a real quality player in. He was somebody that I was trying to chase during the summer but obviously he went to Blackpool in the
Championship and he started the first six games for them.
“I’ve worked with him before and I know what he can bring to the table. Once I knew he was available it was just a question of could we/ should we.
“It makes us stronger, there’s no question about that. He brings intelligence and he can play in a number of positions – he’s an offensive midfield player, he can play as a striker and he can play wide. He’s got creativity and he can score goals.
“He’s a very, very good player and I’m really pleased to have got him in.”
