Manager Keith Hill further strengthened his squad this week with the addition of midfielder Ritchie Jones and defender Michael Rose.
Hill told Dale Player what they’ll bring to the squad.
“They’re good technicians and very good footballers,” said the Gaffer. “Ritchie Jones was brought up at Manchester United and has had a few clubs since leaving United, but never really found a home. He’s trained with us for over a week and he’s got the ability we want. It’s now about making sure that we condition him to play the type of football that we want him to play."
He added: “Michael Rose is an excellent player – I remember him from his Stockport days. He knows how to play left back and he knows how to play left-sided midfield. His left foot is a wand, he’s very creative and a set play specialist.”
