Dale supporters have raised close to £900 so far for the Grow4Joe appeal through ticket sales for next week’s Player of the Season Awards Evening.
Fans have had the chance to pay what they want for tickets this year, with a suggested minimum price of £2, but we are delighted by the donations that have come in so far for the event which currently stands at £888.14 with money coming in all the time.
Tickets at this stage are still available for the event, but supporters are warned that there isn’t too many remaining and it is expected to be a sell out before the end of this weekend.
Supporters can purchase tickets at the Evening with Keith Hill event on Thursday evening at the Dale Bar, and from the Trust desk before Friday’s game with Southend United also in the Dale Bar. Should any tickets remain after this, they will be available from the club shop.
Grow4Joe is a charity set up by Joe Thompson following the diagnosis that he is suffering from Nodular Sclerosing Hodgkins Lymphoma Cancer.
