Pupils from St Anne’s Academy in Middleton will be representing Rochdale in the regional finals of this season’s Football League’s Girls under 13’s Cup.
Dale in the Community recently held a preliminary round, where local high schools competed for the chance to represent Dale in the finals, which take place next year. St Anne’s Academy overcame other local high schools in the preliminary round to do so.
During half-time at Saturday’s League One fixture v Doncaster Rovers, Peter Vincenti presented the youngsters from St Anne’s team with their trophy and medals.
