Dalettes To Perform Cheerleading Routine This Sat

24 April 2014

We’re delighted to announce that we’ll be welcoming our very own cheerleading troupe to Spotland this Saturday.

The youngsters, who have spent many weeks practicing at the Samba dance and fitness sessions organised by Dale’s Football in the Community Trust, are now ready to demonstrate their cheerleading routine.

The girls will be on the pitch at half-time, so let's give them a warm welcome and a round of applause afterwards.

Head of Football in the Community, Keith Hicks, commented: “I know that Sally the dance teacher is extremely nervous, but I have seen the effort she has put into this activity and I’m sure she will be extremely proud of her group.”

If anyone is interested in joining the Tuesday evening session, which takes in cheerleading, chants, street and breakdance, then all you have to do is come to Studds (located at Spotland) at 4.00pm.
The evening is split into two - first hour is cheerleading, second hour is street dance. Cost is only £5.00 for the two hours or £3.00 for one session.
