Rochdale’s under 18 side have landed an away tie in the first round proper of the FA Youth Cup.
Dale will have to wait a bit longer to find out their opponents, though.
The winners of the second round qualifying match between Gateshead and Newcastle Benfield will face Altrincham in the third round of qualifying, before the winners of that tie will go on to face Rochdale.
A date has yet to be set for Rochdale's game, however, the tie must be played before November 7th.
