Rochdale Football Club can confirm that Phil Edwards will not be renewing his contract with the club.
The 27-year-old had been offered a new deal, but his agent has indicated that the defender will not be accepting the terms.
Edwards joined Rochdale on loan from Stevenage in March 2012 before making the move permanently last summer. He went on to make 52 appearances for Dale during his time at the club.
