Speaking ahead of the fixture, a spokesperson from Virgin Active explained more about the Dale partnership: "We are now well into the second year of the working partnership between Virgin Active and Rochdale AFC, and we are delighted to once again be welcoming the players into the Lancashire Health and Racquets Club to assist them with their post game activities.
"Over the last three years Virgin Active has invested over £1million into refreshing the Lancashire Health and Racquets club, and the players and coaching staff are certainly enjoying the state of the art gym, the club lounge and the conference and banqueting facilities where the coaching staff can review performances. As a club we hope that we are meeting the needs of the modern footballer, and would like to think we have helped in some way to the ongoing success of the football club.
