Fantastic fundraising efforts sees Dale supporters reach target...
With just over a week to go until Dale fans Simon Hammonds and Peter Oliver get on their bikes for Prostate Cancer UK, we’re delighted to announce that the pair have reached their fundraising target.
By signing up to represent Rochdale Football Club in the Cycle to Amsterdam Challenge, the duo pledged to raise a minimum of £1,000 each, and they smashed through their £2,000 target on Tuesday evening.
Thanks must go to friends, family and fellow Dale supporters who have all donated, as well as to Simon and Peter for their fantastic fundraising efforts!
The pair will cycle 145-miles over two days from Yorkshire to Amsterdam, leaving Barnsley on June 3rd. The Cycle to Amsterdam Challenge is backed by the Football League, with over 500 representatives from clubs from across the county taking part.
