Ian Craney and Ray Putterill have joined Rochdale on non-contract terms.
The pair have been training with the first-team throughout the summer and travelled to Austria with the squad for the pre-season camp in Austria.
30-year-old Craney, and Putterill who is 23, are both well known to boss John Coleman following spells at Coleman’s former club, Accrington Stanley.
