We’re delighted to announce that Ashley Eastham has signed an extension to his current contract.
The centre-half, whose contract was due to expire this summer, is now contracted to the club until the summer of 2016.
Eastham is the 15th member of last season’s squad to either sign an extension to his current contract or pen a new deal at the club, joining the likes of Jamie Allen, Ian Henderson, Olly Lancashire and Michael Rose in doing so.
The 23-year-old told Dale Player: “The Gaffer and myself have been in talks for the last couple of weeks, so I’m really happy [to have signed an extension].
“I was only interested in staying here. I can develop myself and be part of a successful side – fingers cross we can carry on the good work that we’ve done already.”
