The Youth Team fell to their first defeat of the season on Saturday, after going down 2-1 at home to Port Vale.
Dale opened the scoring after just two minutes, when defender Andy Hollins powered a header home from a corner.
The Valiants leveled on the half hour mark, after they raced onto the end of a ball over the top and lashed a strike beyond the 'keeper who was caught off his line.
The visitors netted two minutes after the break to secure the points. The ball was stabbed over the line from close range from a corner.
Rochdale had been unbeaten in eight going into the game.
