There's still to get involved in our ‘Sponsor A Goal’ fundraising initiative.
Last season we raised over £2,000 together, so the campaign is a valuable source of income for the club.
The names of the supporters who get involved will appear in every issue of Dale’s matchday programme - 'The Voice of Spotland', with a page dedicated to those who are willing to sponsor the number of goals scored. That can be the number of goals scored as team as a whole, or a certain individual player's goal tally.
Sponsorships start at just 50p per goal, but you can choose any amount you wish.
Simply decide on how much you would like to sponsor each Rochdale goal during the forthcoming season, or an individual player, then send your pledge through to pete.woodhouse@rochdaleafc.co.uk with a simple message that you’d like to see appear in TVOS. You can also contact Pete by calling 0844 826 1907 (option3).
Here are two examples from last season:
Ian, Paul, Darren and Mick - "Best wishes to the playing staff and management team" - 50p per each goal scored.
Damon Belfield, Dubai – “Up the Dale!” - £5 per Joe Rafferty goal.
