Rochdale AFC have partnered with Northern Apprenticeships to provide a unique Traineeship Programme.
It will offer work experience and training to young people who are looking to enhance their career prospects.
The Traineeship is a six-week programme, where trainees will spend two weeks in the classroom at the Rochdale AFC Crown Oil Arena, then up to four weeks work experience in various departments around the club including office administration, retail work in the Club Shop and maintenance duties around the ground.
During the course, trainees will achieve a Level 1 Customer Service qualification and gain functional skills including Maths & English, Communication, Professionalism, Rapport Building and Client Satisfaction. There will also be an ‘Employability’ element of the course which involves CV writing, mock interviews and applying for jobs – all vital skills needed to secure future employment.
The course presents a brilliant opportunity for young people to gain valuable work experience, skills and qualifications to help stand out from the crowd. The L1 Customer Service and Employability qualifications are relevant and industry recognised, which means they are very attractive to employers.

Candidates must be:
• Aged 16 – 24 years old
• Have less than 12 months continuous work experience
• Be currently unemployed – or working less than 16 hours per week
• Not be educated to Level 3 or above
• Show enthusiasm and ambition to work!
