As part of the partnership with the Professional Footballer’s Association (PFA), Rochdale AFC's first team players continue to support the Dale in the Community Trust in delivering activities across the Borough.

To further assist the community team in promoting the club in the local community, the Community Trust has appointed players to help promote various themed activities.

Education- Peter Vincenti
Health - Ian Henderson
Social inclusion - Joe Bunney
Kick it Out - Nathaniel Mendez - Laing
Show Racism the Red Card - Calvin Andrew
Futsal - Scott Tanser
Girls/Women’s football - Jamie Allen
Equalities - Jim McNulty
Disability - Joe Rafferty
Charities- Matty Lund

Head of Community, Keith Hicks, commented: "The first team players are constantly supporting the Trust, especially making appearances at Primary and High Schools in the Rochdale Education Authority, as well as making surprise appearances at our half-term holiday courses.

"It’s fantastic to see the players chatting away to youngsters and sharing not only their football experiences with them but also their life experiences. I, on behalf of Siobhan McElhinney [Assistant Trust Manager], who works tirelessly with Peter Vincenti, would like to thank Keith Hill and Chris Beech for allowing us access to the players.

"The Trust has developed massively since its inception back in the late eighties/early nineties so we have appointed the players to assist us in promoting the club out in the local community."
