Preview: Millwall v Rochdale

23 September 2016

The Den is the destination for Rochdale this Saturday, as Keith Hill’s side face Millwall in League 1.

Dale head into the game on the back of last weekend’s 2-1 win over Fleetwood Town, while the Lions were beaten 3-1 away at Southend United.

Millwall made the play-offs last season, losing out to Barnsley. This season, they’ve taken 12 points from their opening eight league games and currently sit eighth in the early league standings.

The hosts will be without Joe Martin, who will miss the game through suspension, while Shaun Cummings and Shaun Hutchinson are doubtful due to injury. Lee Gregory is in contention for a starting place after making his return from injury against Southend.

Dale's Niall Canavan is available for selection after serving a one match ban last weekend, but Keith Hill again has injury problems to deal with for the game.
