Dan Fradley Accepts Role At New York City FC

24 July 2015

We can confirm that Dale’s Head of Performance Analysis, Dan Fradley, has accepted a role at MLS side New York City FC.

Dan has been an integral part of Manager Keith Hill’s backroom staff for the last two and a half seasons, and while we are sad to see him go, we are also delighted for him as he undertakes this excellent opportunity.

Speaking to Dale Player, Hill echoed those thoughts: “Dan has done an exceptional job for us. He is an ex-footballer, so he’s got a feel for what I want and for the industry. From an analysis point of view and from an opposition point of view, he is probably one of the best and I think he will end up in the Premier League.

“At Rochdale Football Club it’s going to happen, not just with players, but staff as well because we can’t offer what New York City/ Man City are offering Dan. It’s a great package and it’s a great opportunity for him from a footballing aspect.”

We would like to thank Dan for his hard-work and dedication during his time at club, as well as wishing him the very best of luck for the future!
